Settling into School-dom

School sounds better and less confusing this week.  Here's what I heard from each of you:
Danielle:

• Is in English Group 4A (Yay!) with Mrs Conlin.  Where you are reading Tom Sawyer (I've requested it at the Library - I'm #3 in line :-)
• Nora & Catherine are in your English class
• You need to read Chapter 13 by next Thursday (I hope I get my copy by then!)
• Some of the "jobs" in the class are: Discussion Director, Summarizer (Danielle's job), Wordsmith (picks an important passage), travel tracker - physically & emotionally (cool, I need to figure that out for my philosophers too!), illustrator, investigator, and connector
• Music with Mr. Brown.  4:33 Silences :-)
• Reading: 
• Midsummer's Night Dream
• To Kill a Mockingbird (I've put that on hold too, # 12

Gaby:

• Is in 3A English.  Will read Shylo (I just found out from the Library that it's spelled "Shiloh" - I'm #1 in line :-)  Mr Percy is nice (segue, or side note - Percy Jackson I`m / 185!)
• Math was Horrible!
• Music book, pulsation = tempo (I learn something new every day!)
• French, Mme Lazarre.  Reading:
• Odysee! by Biblio-college (not at the library, I`ll have to call Librairie Soleil - which is where I bought my French philosophy books!)
• Le loup - Jean de la Fontaine
• La Petite Sirene - Hans Christian Anderson.  Includes: Ugly Duckling, Emporer`s New Clothes, Ce qui fait le vieux et bien fait, le porchet
• Le Rois Mages - Michel Tournier
• Gaby needs to let me know when she is read each book so I can keep up!
